Atelier 9 Avalon is one of the most innovative and creative makers’ studios in the northern beaches of Sydney. Based in coastal Avalon, just minutes from the beach, it is the home of makers including ceramicists and visual artists. A hub for creatives, the studio and its community draws on the artistic and creative spirit of the area.

Atelier 9 Avalon is the brainchild of creative entrepreneur Michelle Cox, who is also an acclaimed ceramicist, specialising in stylish tableware with her innovative brand flung ceramics. Talented multi-disciplinary artist, Valerie Khoo specialises in large scale floral artworks and still life also creates her work live in the studio, daily.

It is a working studio combined with a retail store featuring the work created by its makers, as well as a curated selection of other northern beaches creatives.
